PHOTOGRAPHY Q+A:

How long have you been doing photography?

I've been photographing people, places, and things since I was fresh out of high school in 2008. I spent ten years working as a Creative Director for a coffee shop and honed in on food and service photography during that time. I've done just about all types of image work and love the process of telling stories in visual form. I love exploring the elopement and brand photography areas for creative expressions with couples and businesses.

Are there any unexpected costs on top of your packages?

Most packages are all-inclusive at the set price. Any clients wishing to book out of my general service area (destination elopements/engagements, etc.) will have travel expenses and accommodation rates that may apply. Each is determined based on a per-client basis. 

Do you have a studio?

Not yet! It's a near-future dream of mine to have a dedicated studio space to meet with clients as well as use for shoots and even offer out to fellow artists. But for now, I come to you or I'll rent a studio for a day or two depending on the needs of the shoot.

Are you available to second shoot for other photographers?

What if I'm not comfortable in front of a camera?

I understand that!! Most people are not comfortable in front of the camera, but my job is to make sure you feel confident no matter what! I direct clients in small ways to assist with posing and comfort to ensure you're feeling on top of the world during your time with me!

How long does it take to receive photos?

Every client receives a 48-hour sneak peek gallery of a select handful of photos. The turnaround time depends on the type of shoot. For elopements, you receive your final gallery between 4-6 weeks. All others receive their photos within 2-3 weeks.

BOOKING Q+A:

How long have you been doing photography?

All bookings are done online through an online portal, including contract signing and payment set up. After you send your inquiry, we'll set up a time to chat either via zoom, phone, or in person for coffee consultation and go over the details of what I can do for you! From there, I will send a detailed proposal with instructions on contract and retainers. All clients are required to pay a 50% non-refundable retainer at the time of booking. This means I won't book anyone else for a shoot on your date, covers the consultation and first drafts of design work, as well as administrative costs during the booking process. For photography, remaining payments are due 30 days prior to your shoot or wedding date. Design clients remaining payments are determined based upon deadlines.

How often do you communicate?

I always do my best to be as present as possible but things do often get busy! I have a general reply time of 3-5 days for initial contacts and from there base it on the needs of each person. My dedicated admin days are Monday-Wednesday where I'll be sure to get back quicker. 

Work-life balance is very important for everyone to enjoy, so I typically do not reply to any texts or emails after 4pm daily. That time is dedicated to my family, friends and rest. 

I'd love to work with you but I'm out of state / country. Do you do remote or destination work?

100% yes! I love to travel and would be more than happy to come to you! I offer destination engagement, elopement, and honeymoon shoots as well as brand and product photography. I am available to travel or work remotely for design clients and would love to work together dreaming things up!
